This October 11th - 14th, Malta Classic welcomes car enthusiasts, visitors and families to an exhilarating celebration of the World’s most iconic classic cars.

Malta Classic welcomes car enthusiasts, visitors and families to an exhilarating celebration of the World’s most iconic classic cars. The highly anticipated Malta Classic Mdina Grand Prix being held on the weekend of the 13th and 14th October features the exhilarating races outside Mdina’s fortified walls. 

On Saturday, Cars are put to the test on a track of tight bends, sweeping curves and inclines that wind their way through a valley of vineyards and terraced hills. This gripping day comes to a close with timed drives, determining the starting order of Sunday’s Mdina Grand Prix. 

The 14th October presents the ultimate adrenaline-fueled experience for both drivers and spectators alike. Categorized by speed, power and era, the World’s most iconic and sought-after cars take to the circuit in a thrilling race to the finish line, as the unforgiving nature of the Malta Classic circuit brings out the very best of performance by both drivers and their classic racing automobiles.

Over 70 pre-1976 cars will participate in the 11th edition of Malta Classic, with drivers from international locales including France, the UK, Italy and Switzerland for the Malta Classic 2018 championship of vintage style and speed. 

Malta Classic 2018 commences with the following free entry events: 
11th October: Malta Classic 2018: Mtahleb Hill Climb
12th October: Malta Classic 2018: Mdina Concours d'Elegance

The Malta Classic Hill Climb by Thomas Smith on the 11th October. In this most traditional form of motor racing, vintage cars race the clock to the top of the beautiful Mtahleb hill. This is the first year that the hill climb will be held at this new and exciting location. This is a free event and there is no need to purchase tickets.

Malta Classic Concours d’Elegance by Mdina Glass follows on the 12th October with a spectacle of the World’s most elegant and sought after classic cars and a celebration of vintage style through the eras. Set against a historic backdrop of the island’s most ancient city, the Malta Classic Concours d’Elegance unveils a selection of the finest historic and collector automobiles for the delight of visitors. Entertainment, vintage dress and refreshments make the Concours d’Elegance an unmissable festival. Day 2 is also a free event and no tickets purchase is necessary.
