This year’s Masquerade Summer Experience offers a one week intensive Musical Theatre training experience, led by industry professionals currently working on musicals in the West End. During the course of five days, students will participate in workshops and work on the musical MATILDA. They will be learning songs, dances and scenes from the musical, culminating in a showcase to family and friends at Masquerade’s own theatre space, Blue Box.
We are very thrilled to welcome back Phil Bateman (Musical Director) and Lizzi Gee (choreographer), both currently working on shows in the West End.
All actors will audition on day one, be cast in specific roles, learn songs and choreography, perfect their parts over the week, sort costumes, and have a public performance.
This fun and challenging week is highly recommended for young passionate actors who are ready to grow in their performance skills, and commit to an intensive production process.
All sessions will take place at M Space – Malta’s Hub for the Performing Arts, centrally located in Msida (opposite the entrance to the Junior College).
Suitable ages 7 – 16 years, to be run as two separate groups 7-11 years and 12-16 years. No experience is necessary.
Dates: 24th – 28th July
9.00am – 3.00pm Monday – Thursday
9.00am – 7.00pm Friday, with show performance @ 7.30pm
Fee: EUR 220.00
