The Strada Stretta Concept in collaboration with Valletta 2018 Foundation, present, Sandro Zerafa: 'Nascente' - a jazz homage to the great Brazilian masters - a performance under the artistic direction of Giuseppe Schembri Bonaci, Line-up : Sandro Zerafa (guitar) Oliver Degabriele (bass) Fred Pasqua (drums) Paris based jazz musician Sandro Zerafa returns to his native Malta for a unique concert dedicated to one of his earliest loves - Brazilian music. Together with Oliver Degabriele and Fred Pasqua, Sandro will pay homage to the pillars of Brazilian popular music - Milton Nascimento, Antonio Carlos Jobim, Djavan and Caetano Veloso. Oliver Degabriele is Malta's most renowned bass-player and is also active in the contemporary jazz/ world music scene in Paris (he can be heard with Akale Wube, Festen, Etnika and Brikkuni). Fred Pasqua is one of the most in-demand drummers in France, having performed with Walter Smith III, Logan Richardson, Laurent Coq, Ben Wendel, Louis WInsberg, Romain Pilon amongst others. Sandro Zerafa resides in Paris and he is currently working on his next album which will be released in January 2017. He is also artistic director of the Malta Jazz Festival. FREE ENTRANCE
