poeżija mill-ħamrija
serata dwar il-patata u l-poeżija.
Nhar it-18 ta' Mejju fit-8pm se nkunu qed naqraw poeżiji dwar il-patata. Minn Neruda għal Plath, il-poeżiji dwar il-patata (u l-art u l-ħamrija) mhumiex xi ħaġa ġdida. Diversi poeti kitbu dwar dan l-ikel bażiku jew tal-inqas, semmewh fil-kitba tagħhom. Permezz tal-proġett Poetry in Potato Bags poeti minn Leeuwarden u Malti - li t-tnejn se jkunu bliet kulturali Ewropej fl-2018 - qed jiktbu poeżiji dwar il-patata. U intom?
Ingħaqdu ma’ Gioele Galea, Emmanuel Attard-Cassar, Claudia Gauci, Adrian Grima, Simone Inguanez, Omar Seguna, Achille Mizzi, Josef Borg, Dorianne Bonello, Kit Azzopardi, Beverly Agius, Therese Pace, Gorg Peresso, Clifton Azzopardi, Priscilla Cassar, John Aquilina, Mario Cardona, Rita Saliba, Walid Nabhan u Jesmond Sharples għal serata ta’ qari, ikel u xorb ġewwa ċ-Ċentru Pastorali tal-Qrendi. M’għandniex xi ngħidu, il-Qrendi magħruf għall-għelieqi tal-patata li llum saru kultura. Dakinhar ikun hawn ukoll Froukje De Jong minn Leeuwarden, il-moħħ wara l-proġett.
Ejjew u aqraw l-istil li tridu, spirtu pront u mhux, u bil-lingwa li tridu … ġaladarba s-suġġett ikun, il-patata! Id-dħul u l-parteċipazzjoni huma bla ħlas.
Poetry in Potato Bags huwa proġett ta' Valletta 2018 - European Capital of Culture kkordinat minn Inizjamed. Ħajr lil Best Print u Tal-Kultura għall-għajnuna tagħhom.
