The Ocean deserves it's own day and we want you to get involved!
Throughout the day on our grounds, we shall be holding different activities from 'Kids plastic Workshop' to 'A plastic Ocean' Screening.
12pm onwards: Educational and Awareness Videos, Including the most popular Childrens Program 'OCTONAUTS' on our very own big screen!
'Kids plastic workshop' will run through out the day - we shall be showing you what we can make from your plastic bottles/lids/bags or you could even show us your ideas!
13:30pm: 'Walk for the Ocean' - Join us on a clean up walk from the Aquarium to St Pauls Bay primary and back, meeting at 13:15 by the main screen, return by 4pm.
16:30: 'Kids plastic Workshop' - Join us by the plastic workshop to help us create something made from the rubbish collected during the walk.
18:30: Speeches from the Aquarium and NGO's
19:00: Screening of 'A PLASTIC OCEAN' - award winning documentary highlighting the every worrying problem of plastic in our every day lives.
Along side the activities on our grounds, we shall also have educational Information on our Tablets regarding plastics and a 'TRASH HUNT' - help us and our diver find the trash in our main tank Time TBC.
*If there are any charities or NGO's that wish to contribute to the day by showcasing your efforts towards waste, or conservation efforts, do get in touch with your ideas!
