Join us on this traditional Maltese folklore night at a unique venue for an unforgettable evening where you will experience authentic Maltese cuisine and traditional entertainment—an evening of culinary delights sprinkled with a lot of liveliness! The beautiful estate (the venue) was conceived from an idea of the current owner, who wanted to create a unique venue for special events while also integrating other concepts, such as a brewery making craft beers, vineyards, and olive groves, into a gorgeous venue at a beautiful location. Once seated, you will be served a traditional Maltese platter, while a folklore band will keep you entertained. The band will keep you entertained throughout the evening, and later, our team of traditional dancers, all dressed in eighteenth-century costumes, will lure you into a jovial story of Maltese history told through dance. You will also be invited to join the show and have fun, participating in this joyful celebration of Maltese traditions. During the evening, you will be served a delightful buffet dinner of traditional Maltese food, including free-flowing Maltese table wine, craft beer, mineral water, and soft drinks, all produced on the estate. ► The traditional Maltese platter includes: • Ġbejniet tal-bżar (traditional semi-hardened peppered cheeselets made from goats’ milk) • Żebbuġ mimli (traditional Maltese large olives stuffed with a tuna paste mixture) • Bigilla served with galletti (a traditional Maltese dip made of mashed broad beans, olive oil, salt and red pepper served with water biscuits) • Ħobż biż-żejt u l-kunserva (Maltese bread drizzled with olive oil and spread with a traditional tomato paste) ► The traditional Maltese buffet dinner includes: • Timpana (a traditional pasta pie made of penne, hard-boiled eggs, and minced meat) • Maltese Braġjoli (slowly braised stuffed bundles of beef) • Stuffed marrows • Rabbit cooked the traditional way • Stuffed pork • Fish with traditional tomato sauce • Dessert ► The beverages package includes: • Free flowing local table wine • Free flowing local craft beer • Free flowing mineral water • Free flowing soft drinks • Traditional Maltese coffee
