Tucked within the hushed grandeur of Mdina’s Silent City, St Paul's Cathedral will come alive on the 17th of June with an exclusive midsummer concert inside the Cathedral’s rarely accessible Aula Capitulare. Following last year’s sold-out success, A Midsummer Dream returns for one night only, offering an intimate musical experience for a limited audience. Guests will enjoy an exclusive guided walking tour of Mdina at 18:30, followed by a welcome drink hosted by Xara Collection before being guided upstairs to the Aula Capitulare for the concert. Patrons will also have the opportunity to visit the Cathedral’s magnificent main nave before the performance begins. The programme features evocative works by Handel, Brahms, Haydn and Dvořák, performed by the acclaimed Cordia String Quartet under the musical direction of Jacob Portelli, joined by renowned tenor Cliff Zammit Stevens and hosted by Clare Agius. Doors open at 19:00, welcome drink at 19:30 and concert starts at 20:00. Upon booking, guests will be contacted to reserve their preferred seats from the best available options.
