Discover Malta through its historic towns, local traditions, coastal scenery, and everyday village life on this private cultural experience designed especially for cruise passengers and relaxed travelers. After pickup from your cruise port, hotel, or agreed meeting point, begin your experience with a visit to Mosta, home to one of Malta’s most famous churches. Enjoy a short stop in the village surroundings and experience a quieter side of local life. Continue to Mdina, Malta’s ancient capital, where you will explore its historic streets, architecture, and panoramic viewpoints at a comfortable pace (approximately 1 hour). Next, visit nearby Rabat and stop at a traditional local shop to taste freshly baked Maltese pastizzi and a local soft drink while learning about everyday Maltese food culture (approximately 30 minutes). The experience continues at Ta’ Qali Artisan Village, where you can discover traditional Maltese craftsmanship, including glassblowing, ceramics, filigree jewelry, and handmade souvenirs (approximately 45 minutes). You will then travel south toward the Blue Grotto area to enjoy scenic coastal views and photo opportunities overlooking the Mediterranean Sea (approximately 1 hour). You may take an optional boat trip aboard a luzzu or in summer, an optional swim in the clear blue water. The final stop is Marsaxlokk, Malta’s traditional fishing village, where colorful luzzu boats line the harbor and local life unfolds along the waterfront. Enjoy free time to walk along the promenade, relax by the sea, or have lunch at one of the waterfront restaurants (approximately 1 hour). This experience lasts approximately 6 hours in total, including transport time between locations.
