Description
Visit Popeye Village, the original film set of the 1980 musical 'Popeye,' located 3 km from Mellieħa village in Malta. Tickets provide access to both the upper and lower complexes and the Popeye comic museum.
Explore the village at your own pace, follow in the footsteps of Robin Williams, and enjoy entertaining shows featuring Popeye and his friends. Participate in the filmmaking TAKE2 experience and various animation and puppet shows.
The site includes silversmith demonstrations, a comic and memorabilia museum, and a cinema screening a 15-minute documentary. Visitors receive complimentary popcorn and a postcard. You can also play nine-hole mini-golf or join a scavenger hunt to find Olive Oyl's missing jewel.
During summer, additional activities are available at the bay, including an inflatable obstacle course, floating pontoon, Bedouin sun beds, two splash pools, and a children’s splash pool with slides.
