ETI Malta is a school which is committed on providing practical and full-immersion English Language and Communication training programmes mainly addressed at adults and professionals who aim to improve their communication skills in English and performance on their job when working internationally. These programmes are run in cooperation with York Associates (UK) a leading provider in this specific field of training.
All courses at ETI are:
- Targeted at adults with ages at 24+, (the average age at ETI is 40)
- No ready-made set courses are offered. All courses are tailor-made and designed around the needs and objectives of each trainee.
- Programmes focus specifically on both communication and language knowledge. Training in accuracy in speaking and writing as well as English language development.
ETI is currently providing two main courses in mini-groups (average of 4 participants in each group) starting every Monday throughout the year:
1. Fluent English (Communicating Effectively in English)
2. Business Communication
These may be offered on a one-to-one format or a combination with mornings in a mini-group followed by afternoon sessions on a one-to-one basis.
ETI is also a Teacher Training centre offering CPD courses which are approved and eligible for EU LLP funding under both the Comenius and Grundtvig programmes, as well as the Test for Aviation English (TEA) exam centre in Malta and offers courses in Aviation English (as required by ICAO) to pilots and air traffic controllers (ATCs).
ETI offers a wide range of accommodation options to visiting trainees including homestays, their own in-house residence, highly-finished self-catering apartments and some of the best hotels in St.Julian's.
