GV Malta English Centre

GV Malta English Centre (formerly Global Village) is dedicated to preparing students for cultural enrichment and professional success by providing the opportunity to learn English, the language of global communication. The English language school is situated in a converted villa in a quiet street only 150 meters from the sea and with a maximum capacity of only 125 students. This allows GV Malta to offer each of its students a warm and friendly atmosphere, and classes with a personalised and professional approach.

The GV Malta English Language Centre has earned a reputation that attracts students from 43 countries thanks to its selection of beginners, elementary and advanced English language courses offered by fully qualified teachers, combined with exciting leisure programmes.

We have courses to suit all: Adults 18yrs+, Business English, Young Adults 18 - 22yrs, Family Courses, Kids Club 4 - 7yrs, Pre-Teens 8-11yrs, Teens 12yrs+, Groups, Activity Packages etc.

* General English course is a dynamic, communication-based programme with the following daily structure:

- 20 lessons per week (45 minutes each)

- focus on grammer and language for improved vocabulary, conversation, reading and writing skills

* Intensive General English course

- 30 lessons per week (45 minutes each)

- the General English course plus two extra lessons per day for further vocabulary and conversational practice in order to improve confidence in all areas of the language.

Courses start every Monday with small classes of 10-12 students of 18+ years. The minimum course duration is one week and certification is given on completion of a course.

Facilities at GV Malta include eleven bright and fully air-conditioned/heated classrooms as well as areas for self-study, student reading and a lounge. There is also an internet cafe including free Wi-Fi, an area for snacks and refreshments and a large sun-terrace with roof-garden offering spectacular country views.

The English language school's location in St Paul's Bay is ideal for student leisure. St Paul's Bay is a popular seaside resort with several restaurants, cafés, bars, discos, a cinema and a casino, all within walking distance of the school. GV Malta is situated just two minutes' walk from the sea and Malta's picturesque sandy beaches are easily accessible from here.

Staying in the self-catering School Residential Apartments, located just 15 minutes' walk from the school and 2 minutes from the seaside promenade, allows students to interact and live with other GV Malta English Centre students from around the world and provides another enjoyable opportunity to practice English.
