Description

Visit the Esplora Interactive Science Centre at Bighi, one of Malta’s top attractions. Opened in 2016, Esplora is partly funded by the EU and aims to spark scientific curiosity and imagination. Explore, think, and imagine as you engage with over 200 exhibits in the main exhibition halls and landscaped gardens. Experience hands-on workshops and entertaining science shows at the Activity Centre, making science relevant to everyday life. Don’t miss the Planetarium, a stunning 10.7-meter diameter structure with a complete Colour space 4K theatre system. Enjoy full-dome shows and live presenter-led visualizations of astronomy and other sciences. Discover an exhibition about the Universe, focusing on the Cosmos and Life in Space, within the Planetarium building. Set inside the shell of the old Auxiliary hospital building on the Grand Harbour, the Esplora Planetarium is a must-see attraction in Malta.
