Description

Welcome to Joyide Watersports Gozo Come and enjoy this exclusive activity with us! Come & discover by kayak and boat the Crystal clear Waters in Gozo & Comino Island ! We will meet you at Hondoq Bay, Qala Gozo on the jetty under a big yellow umbrella at 10:30am. Here we will explain in detail what we will be doing & where we will be going. You will sign a disclaimer form and you can store your items in our lockable space. We will then head towards the Kayaks/ Canoes. We will explain how to paddle and then you will follow our guide and he will show you all the beautiful spots along Hondoq Bay Coastline. There will be also a quick stop at a small beach. Then back towards Hondoq Bay. This should happen between 11am - 12pm Then you will have a 30 minute break giving you time to do as you please. There are public rest rooms at Hondoq Bay. The boat will then depart from Hondoq Bay jetty at around 12:45pm for the Santa Maria Cave tour which takes around 20 minutes. This is where they filmed the movie Conte of Monte Cristo in 2003. The boat will literally take you inside the caves. Then heading towards the Blue Lagoon where the boat will drop you off and you can spend as much time as you wish there. We will then arrange a pick up time giving you time to snorkel or simply swim & enjoy the blue turquoise waters. Last boat from Blue Lagoon to Gozo is 6pm. Then heading back to Hondoq bay where activity will end. Important Notice – Comino Island Entry Requirements As of 1st May 2025, the Government of Malta has introduced a new system for visiting Comino Island and the Blue Lagoon. All visitors must pre-book their time slot through the official website www.blcomino.com before travelling. There are three available time slots to choose from: • 08:00 – 13:30 • 13:31 – 17:30 • 17:31 – 22:00 Please ensure you book your ticket in advance as we cannot take you to the Blue Lagoon without a valid booking confirmation from blcomino.com. When arriving for your boat trip, simply show us your valid ticket, and we will issue you a boarding pass for our boat service. Important: For the 2025 season, there is currently no charge to book your visit. Please be aware that delays are expected, especially when docking or during boarding/unloading, as everyone adjusts to this new system. We kindly ask for your patience and cooperation.
