The Farsons Brewery & Gastro Experience offers one of the most unique and flavourful things to do in Malta – a must for beer lovers, foodies, and anyone interested in the history of Malta's iconic beer. Set inside the former Farsons Brewery in Birkirkara, this tour invites you to explore the fascinating story of Cisk beer and the three pioneering families who shaped Malta’s brewing industry. Wander through engaging exhibits featuring vintage brewing equipment, original advertising, and immersive multimedia that brings Malta’s beer culture to life. After the tour, you’ll enjoy five 100ml samples of Farsons’ most popular beers, served alongside a selection of bite-sized dishes made with beer. The tasting includes: - Beef sliders with Farsons Double Red onion jam and Cisk beer cheese sauce - BBQ fried chicken wings coated in Farsons Blue Label BBQ sauce - Mini beef stew made with Farsons Lacto Stout - Cisk beer-battered prawns with smoked chilli mayo - Pumpkin and sage arancini with Cisk beer cheese sauce Vegetarian alternatives are available if requested in advance and includes: - Halloumi sliders with pickled cucumber and Farsons Blue Label BBQ sauce - Pumpkin and sage arancini with Cisk beer cheese sauce - Falafel with Farsons Traditional Shandy and mustard dressing Any dietary requirements, including requests for the vegetarian option, must be communicated upon booking and no later than 24 hours before the tour to ensure our kitchen can accommodate your needs. You’ll also receive a full pint of your favourite from the tasting tray – choose from Cisk, Cisk Pilsner, Blue Label, Green Hop IPA or Double Red – and a Cisk glass with a vintage-inspired logo to take home. Enhancing the visit is the newly added photo-souvenir feature, which gives guests a complimentary digital photo with every ticket, and the option to purchase printed copies. With multiple background choices, including seasonal limited-edition designs and a variety of pricing packages, it’s the perfect keepsake of your experience. The guided tour is available in English, but audio guides are available in French, German, Italian, Spanish, Maltese, and Polish for visitors who prefer these languages, making this guided brewery tour accessible for international visitors.
