Tartarun on nostanut ravintolakeikan uudelle tasolle Marsaxlokkissa. Kuten monilla alueen ravintoloilla, jotka myös hankkivat kalansa paikallisilta kalastajilta, ravintola erikoistuu kalaan ja mereneläviin. Ideana Tartarunissa on tarjota hienostuneempi ruokailuelämys tässä perinteisessä kalastajakylässä.
