Saddles Bar

Saddles Pub is a bit of an institution around the St. Julian's area. Situated in the picturesque Spinola Bay, it is a landmark in its own right having existed for over 40 years and a go to place for a couple of generations. Open daily from 9.00am, people relax on the outside terrace watching the world go by with a beer, cocktail, glass of wine or a cuppa in the colder seasons. In the evenings you will then find a crowd that is always ready to party and have fun at Saddles, with the light hearted atmosphere always guaranteeing a good laugh and a great time.

Saddles is also a popular sports bar with major events shown 'live' on the big screen and several other smaller ones. The interiors are spread of two floors with the ground floor being the main bar area with a pool table and the upper floor a cosy private wine bar which is a popular venue for events such as birthday, graduation, bachelor and hen parties. The views of Spinola Bay from the outside balcony are quite something.

On weekends, the crowd and party at Saddles often spills out onto the surrounding street and pavement with both locals, expats and tourists getting in on the act. Away from the main Paceville mayhem, Saddles is a recommended night out with good music, drinks and a fun crowd at this long established bar.

Evening 'Dghajsa' Sea Tour

Looking to impress your loved one... nothing gets much more romantic than an evening cruise around the Spinola and Balluta Bays and the luxurious Portomaso marina on one of Saddles very own traditional fishing boats. Lit up for the occasion with a suggestive red heart on the front, it feels like a little slice of Venice here in Malta. Touring the bays on the 'Dghajsa' (pron. 'die-sa'), with all the glistening lights of the St Julian's and Sliema seafronts, is a nice little romantic experience you'll want to repeat.
