Peter's Pool

It is not an easy place to get to and not suitable for inexperienced swimmers, however, Peter’s Pool is a real treat for those looking to go that extra mile to find a special spot. It is situated just off the tip of Delimara Point, a headland overlooking Marsaxlokk Bay at the southernmost part of Malta.

Peter’s Pool is essentially a rocky inlet that is accessed by negotiating a set of steps. The sea here is crystal clear with a colour mix of a dreamy azure and a fresh green that is suitable for the most exotic of postcards. Flat rocks provide an ideal sun bathing area and a terraced section some shade from the scorching sun. The more adventurous will enjoy the possibility of diving into the waters from a few meters up.

The wider Delimara point area offers further spots ideal for deep open sea swimming,
