Delicious abundant food. This is D-BAR restaurant in three words. And good value, if we could add another two. This is a local family run bar in the heart of Qala, a charming village in Gozo, which developed and expanded into a favourite restaurant with Maltese and Gozitans alike. Set over two floors, the restaurant has a modest and traditional feel to it.

The food, on the other hand, is anything but modest. Here, size matters. The pizzas are legendary with locals and it is not uncommon to run into a queue waiting for a take-away to take home. The generous pasta dishes can be taken for starters or mains.

Be warned that the restaurant is very popular and booking on weekends is a must.
