Palio's is a casual diner within a five star setting. The restaurant is located within the Westin Dragonara Malta in the cospomolitan town of St. Julian's. The warm and homely interiors give Palio's a trattoria look in winter while the spacious terrace overlooking the expanse of the blue Mediterranean sea make it an ideal al fresco eatery during Malta's lovely prolonged summer evenings.
The menu at this laid-back cheerful restaurant is a healthy mix of delicious pastas (try the linguini seafood puttanesca or farfalle maltese style), pizzas (traditional margherita or adventurous carne with a spicy meat mince), meat (burgers and fillets) and fish (grilled sea bream or salmon). One of Palio's platters is an ideal plate to share as an antipasto while the wine list will have you sipping a nice vintage while happily gazing at the sea well after you've gobbled up your food.
The seaside setting, five star location and service, lovely food and some good company...Palio's restaurant can really define what Mediterranean living is all about.
