Ta' Pennellu is a family run restaurant in Marsalforn, Gozo, owned by the eldest son Anthony. He is affectionately known as 'Pennellu' for his artistic abilities (a derivative of the Italian word 'pennello', which means brush).
The Ta' Pennellu restaurant was inspired through Anthony's other passion, cooking - an art past down from this grandma who had a skill for creating original dishes with local ingredients based on the stories her husband sailor used to bring back home from his many voyages.
The delicious food found at Ta' Pennellu restaurant ranges from fish and meat grills to salads, pasta and pizzas. Whilst a menu is available, the daily specialities are the way to go with the best seasonal and fresh dishes available cooked to perfection. What better way then to spend a lovely Mediterranean evening with family and friends than in a welcoming atmosphere and your daily catch being grilled right in front of you.
