T'Anna Mari restaurant is a family run restaurant by chef patron Salvatore and his team. Hailing from Sicily but already having spent many years in Malta, the kitchen here is a mix of the best Sicilian and local cuisine. There is a very heavy accent on fresh and regional produce which is further evidenced with the restaurant's participation in the Slow Food movement that promotes organically grown regional cuisine.
The home made bread is divine... and their seafood degustation especially popular. Highly recommended!
The restaurant itself is located in the charming fishing village of Marsaxlokk, less than a minute walk from the main church square. This a place you want to escape to and enjoy the view of the traditional Maltese fishing boats followed up by an exquisite lunch or dinner prepared by the T'Anna Mari team. In the summer months, they also open an al fresco section right on the water's edge.
Being family run, the service is second to none... attentive and welcoming, you will immediately feel at home. The service, however, does not only depend on charm and you really get a professional service here with a good explanation of all food available and prepared as well as expert wine knowledge to complement the food.
