DiveMed

DiveMed is a PADI five star dive centre and one of the only ones situated in the South of Malta. They operate from Marsascala, a traditional Maltese fishing village which is charmingly quaint in the winter and that comes to life in the summer with its many restaurants, cafes and bars along its seafront promenade.

The team behind DiveMed is the Borg family. Opened by Manuel in 1986, he is one of the most experienced and sought after divers on the island and has worked on a myriad of dive related activities... from film productions to fish farm installations.

His eldest daughter, Abigail, was practically born into diving and caught the same bug which has made diving the beautiful Mediterranean waters her life's passion. Today she is also dedicated to managing the whole DiveMed operation with her infectious enthusiasm. Her younger sister, Mikela, is also an avid diver and makes up the final piece of the puzzle with her fresh ideas and always being up for a new challenge.

With the dive centre set by the sea shore, both beginner and experienced level dives are within easy reach in the surrounding area. From low depth shore dives to tugboat, plane and boat wrecks ranging from 20 to 80m depth. Coupled with the practical and spacious dive centre and the qualified and friendly personnel, this makes Dive Med ideal for those trying their first dive experience, those improving on their diving qualifications and skill set, and those who just want to dive and discover more wonders of the underwater world.
