Begin your day with a visit to the Mosta Rotunda, known for its large dome, one of the biggest unsupported domes in Europe. Learn about the story of 1942, when a bomb hit the dome but did not explode, and around 300 people survived.
Next, continue to Ta’ Qali Crafts Village, one of the best places to see Maltese craftsmanship. Watch artisans at work: glassblowers create colorful pieces and silversmiths produce fine filigree jewelry. Explore the shops, a great place to find authentic souvenirs.
