You can start the tour any time between 10:30 a.m. and 3:30 p.m., allowing flexibility to fit your schedule. Upon arrival at the Sanctuary Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady (Rotunda of Mosta), you will be welcomed at the reception desk where staff will provide all necessary information and help you download the mobile app for your tour.

The tour begins with a visit to the Mosta Dome, a Roman Catholic parish church built between 1833 and 1860, modelled after Rome’s Pantheon. It is Malta’s largest church and features the third-largest unsupported dome globally.

Next, explore the underground World War II air-raid shelter, which includes exhibitions on old trades and Malta’s wartime history. This section is self-guided, supported by a mobile app and printed materials available in English, French, German, Italian, and Spanish.

Afterward, an English-speaking team member will guide you through Mosta’s historic streets to visit sites with exclusive access, including the Markiz Mallia Tabone Farmhouse. This cultural centre hosts permanent and seasonal exhibitions on Maltese heritage, folklore, and contemporary arts.

You will then visit the Speranza Chapel (Our Lady of Hope) located in Wied il-Għasel (Mosta Valley). Built in 1761, the chapel is associated with a notable local legend. Throughout the walk, detailed booklets and the mobile app provide context in multiple languages.
