The Malta Classic Car Collection situated in Qawra is considered to be amongst the best Classic Cars Museums in Europe as well worldwide. The idea of a museum was not always in the owner's mind even though Carol Galea always had a great passion for cars.
During his childhood he build a significant collection of car models and when he reached his driving age, Carol built a car to his own design equipped with a Jaguar XK 140 engine with which he participated in national hill climbs. His passion geared him to commence a real car collection with a Fiat 1200, still present today, paving the way.
Eventually, lack of personal and friend's garage space spurred Carol to open the Malta Classic Car Collection.
