Description

After hotel pickup, begin your tour in Mdina, Malta’s ancient capital known for its palaces, fortifications, and medieval and Baroque architecture. Walk its narrow streets and admire panoramic views from the bastion walls before exiting through the Greeks Gate.

Next, visit St. Cataldus Catacombs in Rabat, historically a Punic burial site and one of Malta’s earliest Christian archaeological locations. Observe rock-hewn graves and canopied tombs.

Continue to Dingli Cliffs, Malta’s highest point at about 253 meters, overlooking terraced fields and the sea with views toward the uninhabited island of Filfla.

After lunch, explore San Anton Botanical Gardens, established in the 17th century by Grand Master Antoine de Paule near San Anton Palace, the Maltese President’s residence.

Then stop at Ta’ Qali Craft Village, a former wartime airfield transformed into a craft hub. Watch artisans demonstrate traditional glassblowing and select authentic Maltese souvenirs.

The tour concludes at Mosta Rotunda, also known as the Sanctuary Basilica of the Assumption of Our Lady. Built in Neoclassical style between 1833 and the 1860s, it features the world’s third largest unsupported dome, inspired by Rome’s Pantheon. Return transportation to your hotel follows.
