Scuba Diving Introduction Course in Malta
This beginner-friendly scuba diving course in Malta is suitable for those interested in learning basic scuba skills and exploring Mediterranean marine life safely.
What to Expect
The course begins with an orientation and safety briefing from a certified scuba instructor. You will learn about diving equipment, hand signals, and essential safety protocols.
After gearing up with wetsuit, fins, mask, and tank, you will practice basic scuba skills in a pool or calm, shallow ocean area. The instructor guides you to become comfortable breathing underwater and maneuvering with your equipment.
Once confident, you will descend underwater to explore local marine life and reefs while the instructor ensures your safety and assists throughout the dive.
After the session, there is an opportunity to ask questions, review the experience with your instructor, and discuss further training options if desired.

Important Information
- Recreational scuba diving requires good physical and mental health. If you have had any of the following, consult a physician before booking:
- Problems with lungs, breathing, heart, or blood affecting performance
- Issues with eyes, ears, or nasal passages/sinuses
- Recent surgery within 12 months or ongoing post-surgery problems
- Loss of consciousness, migraines, seizures, stroke, significant head injury, or neurological disease
- Treatment for psychological problems, personality disorders, panic attacks, or addiction
- Do not fly within 12 hours after diving
- Participants under 18 require parental permission to enrol

Booking Tips
Wear comfortable swimwear beneath your wetsuit and bring a towel. The best time to dive is during calm sea conditions, usually in the morning. Arrive 15 minutes early for the briefing and gear fitting.
