Description

Day 1 – Saturday: Visit the Three Cities—Vittoriosa, Cospicua, and Senglea—where the Knights of St. John settled in 1530. Drive past Cospicua and walk through Vittoriosa’s historic streets, including sites like the first auberges of the Order’s langues.

At Vittoriosa waterfront, take a traditional harbor boat (dghajsa) tour through the harbor creeks. From Senglea Garden at the peninsula tip, enjoy a panoramic 360° view of the Grand Harbour and Fort Sant Angelo, notable for its role in the Great Siege of 1565.

Day 2 – Sunday: Start at Marsaxlokk fishing village to see the vibrant luzzus and the lively Sunday market. Spend the morning among locals shopping at various stalls.

Next, visit Wied iz-Zurrieq to optionally take a boat trip to the Blue Grotto and surrounding caves (boat trip not included and depends on weather). View the Mediterranean sea and Filfla islet.

Finish with a guided walk through Qrendi village, exploring narrow streets around the main square, parish church, and band club, learning about the village’s history.
