Description

Day 1: Valletta and Audiovisual Show

Start with a guided tour of Valletta, the fortified city founded by the Knights in 1566. Enjoy views of the Grand Harbour from Upper Barrakka Gardens. Visit St. John’s Co-Cathedral (optional add-on or free time), featuring Caravaggio paintings and marble floors. Walk along Republic Street past the Grand Masters’ Palace and St. George’s Square. Conclude the day with an audiovisual show at the Malta Experience (Monday) or Malta 5D (Wednesday) to learn about Malta’s history.

Day 2: Mdina

Tour the medieval city of Mdina, with its narrow streets from the Arab period and panoramic views from its bastions. See medieval Siculo-Norman and Baroque architecture in this “Silent City.” Visit the cliffs at Dingli and the San Anton botanical gardens near the Presidential Palace.

Day 2 Optional Add-On: Upgrade to a full-day tour including a 3-course lunch with wine, visit early Christian Catacombs in Rabat, Ta’ Qali Crafts Village, and Mosta Church with one of Europe's largest domes.

Day 3: Three Cities

Explore the Grand Harbour’s Three Cities: Vittoriosa, Cospicua, and Senglea. Walk Vittoriosa’s historic streets and visit the Knights’ auberges. Take a dghajsa boat tour of the harbor creeks, then enjoy views from Senglea Garden overlooking Fort St. Angelo, the defense site during the 1565 Great Siege.

Day 3 Optional Add-On: On Wednesdays, extend your tour with an afternoon harbor cruise from Sliema to explore Marsamxett and the Grand Harbour, including transport.

Day 4: Gozo
