Description
The tour begins at Blue Grotto, a network of six sea caves known for clear waters and impressive views. You may take an optional boat ride here, weather permitting.
Next, visit the Tarxien Temples, a collection of three interconnected prehistoric temple structures restored in 1956. Many decorated slabs from the site are preserved at Valletta’s Museum of Archaeology.
In Zejtun, traditionally called Città Beland, you will tour the Museum of Art and History featuring local art, archaeology, and Good Friday Procession statues. You will also see Luqa Briffa Garden, locally known as Ġnien tal-Kmand.
The tour continues to Marsaxlokk, a traditional fishing village famous for its seafront market and colorful national boats, the Luzzu and Kajjik, used by local fishermen.
Finally, visit Delimara Peninsula, which includes tourist bays such as St Peter’s Pool and Kalanka Bay, along with a lighthouse, British fort, and remains of a Hospitaller battery. From May to October, a swim stop at Kalanka Bay is included; from November to April, the tour features a countryside walk instead.
