Malta’s only Via Ferrata combines hiking and climbing along a protected route on the Mosta Valley rock face. The “iron path” uses fixed steel cables, ladders, footholds, and steps to secure climbers throughout the course.

Participants wear a helmet, harness, and safety gear, remaining clipped to the cable while crossing exposed sections above the valley floor. This setup allows beginners to safely experience vertical climbing and natural landscapes.

The route offers panoramic views over the valley, while building balance, confidence, and a sense of achievement. The activity includes a short zipline to enhance the adventure.
