クワラにあるマルタクラシックカーコレクションは、ヨーロッパおよび世界中でも最高のクラシックカーコレクションの1つとして考えられています。オーナーの頭の中に博物館のアイデアが常にあったわけではありませんでしたが、キャロル・ガレアは常に車に対する大きな情熱を抱いていました。

幼少期に彼は車のモデルの重要なコレクションを築き、自動車を自己のデザインで製作し、ジャガーXK 140エンジンを搭載し、国内ヒルクライムに参加しました。彼の情熱は、今日まで残るフィアット1200を含む本当の車のコレクションの始まりを築きました。

最終的に、個人的な友人のガレージスペースの不足から、キャロルはマルタクラシックカーコレクションを開くきっかけとなりました。
