No better way than this to enjoy the Maltese countryside. With some really well behaved and lovely horses, this is ideal for even complete beginners. Combine with a visit to the nearby farming village of Mgarr for some genuine local bars and restaurants. If in season, make sure to buy strawberries.

Malta is known for its sea, beaches and its colourful history but somewhat less for the areas of beautiful countryside that may be found. However, this is a side of the island certainly worth discovering and Bidnija Horse Riding is the perfect way to do this. Located in the unspoilt countryside of the Bidnija and Mgarr area, the stables are perfectly located as a base to set out to enjoy a few hours riding on a horse and away from any stressful activities whilst enjoying the pleasant peaceful surroundings.

Bidnija Horse Riding is for everyone. The qualified instructors and well trained horses are adequate even for complete beginners that never rode a horse before. This would actually be a great place to start... taking in some typical Maltese scenery, no traffic, no pollution... just the sound of the horses’ hoofs, the creaking of the leather saddle and the smell of some clean fresh air... life as it once was!

The team at Bidnija Horse Riding are literally in love with their animals. They go through great lengths to give them the best care possible and take great pride when clients compliment them about the beauty of their horses (over 20 of them).

A horse riding outing can take between 1 to 7 hours according to client preferences. Bidnija Horse Riding also welcomes groups and activities for various events from birthday parties and get togethers, to weddings and corporate functions.

So saddle up and get to experience a different side to Malta... one which is available to enjoy all year round!
